Mountain Quail Cross Body

I ordered this backpack for a trip to Europe and it did not disappoint. It’s extremely well made, and has a lovely matte texture to it that gives it a worn look without appearing too rustic or used. I was able to pack so much stuff in it: a workout skort, a swimsuit, a workout tank top, a Coleman water bottle, a small cosmetic bag, all my cords and power bank for my phone, a pair of flip flops, and I STILL had room for a small round (6”) crossbody purse. A laptop would easily fit in here and still allow room for cords and books, if needed. I used an S style carabiner to hook the two top handles together and hung my hat from it. I had hands free the entire adventure, and in doing this with the carabiner it gave me extra protection from potential pick-pocketing since it obstructed the bag’s main zipper. There is a divider pocket inside that separates the entire bag into two large compartments, plus a zippered pocket for keys, cash, etc. The front has a pocket as well with an easy to access buckle with snaps. I put items like gum in it rather than anything of major importance as it’s the most easily accessible pocket for someone trying to steal. The bag itself wasn’t heavy even with everything loaded into it, and it sits very comfortably on your back. When I got back from my trip, I began using it daily for other things and it’s now my favorite purchase so far this year. I’m telling you, buy this bag if you’re looking for something chic to carry it all without looking like Dora The Explorer. I’d buy this bag again in a heartbeat and because it’s real leather—and thick—I know it’ll last for a very long time.
